Qualifications

  • 5+ years of QA experience within Capital Markets.
  • 3+ years of experience with Commodity markets, including Agriculture, Oil, and Natural Gas.
  • Hands-on experience with Commodities trading systems.
  • 3+ years of knowledge of derivative instruments and their lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of technical skills including SQL and related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with BA, Dev, Support and Users on new projects or enhancements.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and perform functional/automation testing.
  • Coordinate UAT and maintain JIRA status.
  • Document test designs for commodities products.
  • Ensure clear understanding and verification of test scenarios.
  • Work with users for UAT sign-off.
  • Perform regression testing during each sprint cycle.

The Team

Commodities, FX Options & Derivatives Technology US is seeking a QA for projects that involve working with a team in functional and automation testing for a commodity trading system. The product is fully in production and also requires several enhancements.

The Role
  • Work with BA, Dev, Support and Users teams on understanding new project or enhancement or bug fixes requests
  • Prepare Test scenarios, Test Cases and perform Functional / Automation testing
  • Work on UAT coordination and maintaining JIRA status
  • Work with Commodities Front Office Sales and Trading as well as other groups (Middle and Back Office) on documenting test design document for commodities products
  • Work with other technology teams to ensure test cases and scenarios are clearly understood, verified and tested
  • Work UAT coordination to receive sign-off from users
  • Perform Regression Testing for every sprint cycle
Qualifications
  • QA within Capital Markets – 5+ years of experience
  • Experience and knowledge of Commodity markets in the US/Canada including Agriculture, Oil and Natural Gas – 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Strong working experience with Commodities or other Trading systems – 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Knowledge of derivative instruments and their lifecycle (Swaps, Futures, Options) – 3+ years of hand on experience
  • Technical skills such as SQL (writing SQL queries & extract from a database) and Microsoft office products, JIRA – 3+ year of hands-on experience
