Insight Global is seeking a skilled Python Developer for a 6 month to support a top bank’s ongoing cybersecurity projects and programs. The individual should be interested in furthering their cybersecurity knowledge and Palo Alto XSOAR skills. You will build automations, develop playbooks, create user-friendly UI layouts, write scripts, and implement integrations using API methods like REST and SOAP. The role requires someone willing to learn and train on the job. Candidates must excel in independent problem-solving and troubleshooting, driving proof‑of‑concept solutions to implementation with minimal supervision.

Skills and Requirements

4-5 years of development experience with a focus on Python

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline
• Hands‑on experience scripting, building automations
• Experience creating integrations using various API methods (e.g., REST, SOAP)
• Ability to drive investigations independently, develop proof‑of‑concept solutions, and take them to design and implementation with little or no supervision
• Expertise in problem resolution and troubleshooting
• Adherence to technology standards with ability to produce resilient and scalable solution designs - Knowledge (professional or personal) of PALO ALTO XSOAR

Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, JIRA, Ansible)

• Familiarity with Azure services or Docker containerization
• Knowledge of Linux utilities and basic networking protocols
• Exposure to SIEM/SOAR solutions (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, FortiSOAR)
