Role Overview: Neuropsychology and Cognitive Health provides neuropsychological assessment, cognitive intervention, and behaviour support services at Baycrest, and provides neuropsychology consultation services to external organizations. The program aims to provide excellence and leadership in clinical neuropsychological services. The position will report to the Program Director, Neuropsychology and Cognitive Health Program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide neuropsychological evaluations
  • Assist with administration of clinical research project
  • Collaborate with the project’s multi-site coordinator and the memory clinic manager of research
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings and educational series
  • Other duties as directed

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) accredited internship preferred
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
  • Experience with neuropsychological evaluation and intervention of individuals with neurodegenerative disorders
  • Experience working with an older adult population
  • Experience working with inter-professional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, provide and delegate care activities for clients and families
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills – Meditech, Microsoft Word and Excel
