Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and monitor patients' mental health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and promote overall well-being.
- Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention and management for patients experiencing acute psychiatric episodes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Master's degree in psychiatric-mental health nursing is a plus.
