Job Description

We are currently searching for a Proposal Coordinator in our Edmonton office.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in initiating, coordinating, and preparing engineering services proposals. This will include reviewing client opportunities, organizing kick‑off and coordination meetings, strategizing on proposal and team approach, creating proposal content and schedules, following up on assigned responsibilities and delivering compliant proposals.

Operating with minimal direction, you will be responsible for producing proposals in a professional style, while also evaluating narrative relevance, comprehension, and applicability of content provided by others. The role also involves creating attractive proposal layouts and designs, precise proofreading, editing, and rewording of text to ensure high-quality, compliant, and accurate submissions are delivered on time.

Job Requirements
  • Relevant degree or diploma from an accredited post‑secondary education institution.
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience providing project or proposal management support.
  • Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and marketing teams, and effectively communicate marketing strategies and business development updates.
  • Reliable and able to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Committed team player.
  • Experience with proposal and technical report preparation. Excellent writing skills (including editing, grammar, style, spelling, punctuation), editing, and proofreading skills for accuracy, quality, and messaging tailored to target audiences.
  • Experience working in an engineering environment, or a technical background, will be an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of scheduling software, such as MS Project, and SharePoint is an asset.
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft PowerPoint in a Windows environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of software packages including desktop publishing packages and capability to integrate into final product.
