Promotions Assistant

Responsibilities
  • Participate in creative brainstorming for contests, community initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Promotions Director to develop, plan, and execute on‑air, online, and on‑site promotions.
  • Assist with on‑site event setup, coordination, and listener interaction.
  • Support in management and maintenance of station social media accounts.
  • Schedule promotional campaigns and manage prizing distribution and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support as required.
  • Assist with website updates, contest pages, and promotional content.
  • Prepare wrap reports for station and sales‑driven events and promotions.
  • Ensure promotional equipment and station vehicles are organized, stocked, and ready for events.
  • Provide direction and support to Street Team members.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as required.
Qualifications

  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
  • Detail‑oriented, with the ability to catch errors, follow processes, and ensure accuracy across all tasks.
  • Ability to work on site at our Calgary office; this is an in‑office role.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Social media savvy, with experience using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and creating engaging content.
  • Experience in events, customer service, marketing, or media is an advantage but not required.
  • Proficiency with basic creative and presentation tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or PowerPoint is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.
