Overview

Our client is an established building contractor with projects ongoing across Ireland. They include life sciences, healthcare, leisure, residential, academia etc. They are looking to recruit a Project QS to be based in Galway to work on Galway / western projects – initial project €45M new build. Both office and site based. Reporting to Sr QS managing Junior & Graduate QS. Excellent opportunity to progress your career CIPD towards Chartership should you wish to do so.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work on Galway and western Ireland projects, starting with a €45M new build.
• Operate in a split role with both office and site-based duties.
• Report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and manage Junior & Graduate Quantity Surveyors.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor or in a similar quantity surveying role on construction projects.
• Willingness to be based in Galway with both office and site work.
• Ability to work under the guidance of a Senior QS and support Junior & Graduate QS.
