What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist with the review and approval of Supplier Contracts and installation contracts
  • Track and maintain historical vendor performance to inform future contract decisions. Conduct bid reviews and assist in subcontract preparation.
  • Support the design team in creating and reviewing shop drawings; ensure material specifications and detailing meet project standards. Verify fabrication drawings for accuracy and completeness before release.
  • Collaborate with the GM, Production Supervisor, and Drafting Manager to develop detailed glazing schedules and align with the General Contractor’s timeline. Schedule shop labor for site installation.
  • Manage and document change orders, site instructions, RFIs, and contract modifications in Sage 100. Track impacts on scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Verify material quantities and specifications prior to issuing POs. Coordinate with Purchasing and Project Coordination teams to ensure accurate and timely ordering.
  • Attend weekly internal and site meetings to review priorities, timelines, and site conditions. Communicate project updates and concerns to clients, architects, and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management within manufacturing is required
  • Experience of glass production processes (tempering, laminating, coating, cutting, etc.) is required
  • Experience with Curtain wall (custom doors, railings, skylights, vents) is an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications in 2D and 3D is required
  • Proficient in project management software, along with Sage 100 and Microsoft Project
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, timelines, and risks effectively
  • Experience in Logistics is required
  • Strong communication skills with internal teams, vendors, and clients
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Valid G license is required as you may have to drive to job sites
