About the Role

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join its Capital Markets Technology team, supporting the Global Derivatives business. This role is focused on delivering complex, end-to-end technology projects that enable front-office trading and risk management across multiple asset classes, with a particular emphasis on equities, interest rates, and fixed income.

You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to stakeholder engagement and governance, ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple technical projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across trading desks, risk teams, and technology groups.
• Oversee project planning, execution, reporting, and governance.
• Ensure alignment with business goals, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote Agile practices and continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience within capital markets.
• Strong understanding of the front-office trade lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven track record of delivering technical projects end-to-end.
• Experience working with equities, rates, and fixed income products.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as PMP, CFA, or FRM are considered strong assets.
• Experience in cross-asset environments or multi-portfolio project delivery.
