Description

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on one of Vancouver’s most high-profile commercial developments — the Oakridge redevelopment. This role is critical to delivering building systems scopes, including mechanical and fire protection, during the final stretch of the base building and into early 2026.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded PM with a mechanical or building systems background, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. We dont need to be a sprinkler or fire protection expert — they'll learn those scopes over time. What matters most is the ability to lead, coordinate, and keep projects moving, with a mech or buildings background.

Scope & Duties
  • Oversee building systems installation with a mechanical focus (including fire protection scopes).
  • Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate tools, materials, and resources to keep crews productive.
  • Communicate ownership changes and directives promptly to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor site progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
  • Support scheduling and reporting using MS Project and internal systems.
  • Maintain project activity logs and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and timelines.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet critical deadlines.
