What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget while meeting client expectations
- Negotiate contracts and coordinate large teams including owners, consultants, and contractors
- Implement project management processes and maintain proactive client communication
- Lead project meetings, identify risks, and troubleshoot performance issues
- Supervise and mentor team members to foster a collaborative work environment
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience delivering capital real estate projects
- Post-secondary education in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or similar
- Experience as an "Owner Representative" in a fee-for-service consulting environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and highly organized
- Proficient in MS Office suite and experience with MS Project or other scheduling software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Professional designation such as P.Eng. or similar is an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
- Sustainability designation such as LEED, CSP, ENV SP is an asset
