About Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of commercial construction projects ranging from $2M to $20M. Reporting to the VP of Construction, you will be responsible for full lifecycle project delivery, revenue performance, client satisfaction, and team leadership. With a growing pipeline and organizational stability, this role offers long-term growth and the ability to make a meaningful impact within a value-driven environment.

About The Position
The Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction from planning through turnover, ensuring accurate budgeting, scheduling, safety performance, and quality control. They are looking for proven success delivering commercial ground-up projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships with owners, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full project lifecycle, ensuring safe, timely, and profitable delivery
  • Manage day-to-day project operations, prepare schedules, and monitor progress
  • Prepare detailed job cost reports, forecasting updates, and financial documentation
  • Develop and submit project budgets, estimates, contracts, change orders, and RFIs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, suppliers, and partners
  • Interpret and manage contractual obligations from project start to completion
  • Lead project meetings, resolve challenges, and ensure accountability
  • Implement safety procedures and quality control standards with a focus on continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of construction project management experience
  • Minimum 3 years at a General Contractor
  • Minimum 3 consecutive years at a recent employer
  • Proven experience managing commercial projects between $2M and $20M
  • Strong history working in commercial and multifamily construction sectors
  • Experience with ground-up multifamily & commercial construction (not TI)
  • Knowledge of the Alberta construction market and industry partners
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant construction or technical discipline

Compensation

  • Salary: $140,000–$160,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Bonus: Performance-based
