Responsibilities

• Update and maintain architectural master drawings for all SHN Hospitals.
• Maintain the Space Inventory and the Wayfinding Platform as tied with the As-Builts.
• Work with stakeholders to design test fits, simplified maps and graphics, feasibility studies, 3D modelling, block plans.
• Assist with any requests pertaining to pulling space data and reference drawings.
• Plan & execute space & wayfinding projects across all SHN Hospitals.
• Maintain and/or fabricate designs for digital directories, maps, internal and external wayfinding.
• Coordinate and uphold SHN design standards and branding guidelines.
• Support the space planning of multiple simultaneous construction projects.
• Perform quality assurance activities in the form of space and allocation audits.
• Contribute to the development of SHN space utilization guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Perform financial responsibilities related to space and wayfinding projects or requests.
• Perform administrative responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the department.
• Perform cross-functional and other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned/requested.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a University Degree or College Diploma, preferably in Graphic Design, Art & Design, Interior Design, Architectural or Engineering Technology, or recognized equivalent.
• Experience using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
