Overview

We are excited to announce this position as our company continues to grow. With some interesting and promising projects already in the pipeline for 2025, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Coordinator to support this new growth.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the project manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans.
  • Execute project management administrative tasks such as managing invoices, quantities, purchase orders and inventory reports, etc.
  • Supervise the project procurement process.
  • Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what\'s needed at the right time.
  • Assign tasks to team members and help them understand what\'s expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Help project managers monitor project progress and team members\' performance and provide updates to project stakeholders.
  • Schedule meetings, document and generate reports as required.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of construction experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, equipment, materials, drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in Window programs (e.g. MS Project, MS Office, PDF Programs)
  • Estimating experience would be considered an asset
  • Ability to apply basic engineering/problem-solving techniques to challenges
  • Intermediate knowledge of means and methods and construction sequences
  • Ability to develop a construction schedule
  • Ability to administer subcontracts and contract documents
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a challenging environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • A valid driver\'s license and the ability to travel as needed
