U+ Toastmasters' Youth Volunteer Connects Program is funded by Canada Service Corps, a national movement that empowers youth aged 12 - 30 to gain experience and build important skills while giving back to their community.

What You’ll Do

Are you passionate about creativity, social media, and community engagement? Join U+ Toastmasters as a Volunteer and make a positive impact on the community while promoting our inspiring public speaking and leadership programs!

  • Provide administrative and program support including scheduling, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and delivering programs by preparing materials, resources, and activity spaces.
  • Support staff, volunteers, and instructors in implementing program activities and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Track participant attendance, engagement, and progress, maintaining accurate records for reporting purposes.
  • Communicate with participants, families, and stakeholders to provide program information and updates.
  • Assist with events, workshops, and special initiatives to enhance program delivery and participant experience.
  • Maintain organized files, supplies, and resources to support program efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to program evaluation and improvement by providing feedback and observations to staff.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Enthusiastic, dependable volunteers age 12-30 with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Commitment to completing basic training.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (required if you’re over 18).
  • Bonus skills: previous experience, fluency in another language besides English.
