The Profit Centre Manager will be responsible for leading and inspiring their team to deliver on Noble’s service commitment. This includes, but is not limited to, the overall branch operations including customer satisfaction and teammate engagement, financial performance, inventory management, operational adherence to policy, growth in wallet and market share, and general maintenance and appearance of the Profit Centre. In addition, the Profit Centre Manager must be committed to upholding our Code of Ethics and Conduct with every interaction.

Leadership
  • Participate in recruitment, selection, and development of your team to drive growth within your Profit Centre’s market position
  • Provide leadership and guidance to your team to deliver on Noble’s service commitment

Sales and Financial Acumen
  • Review reports and develop action plans to increase your profit centre’s sales performance and customer satisfaction
  • Build new customer relationships, manage existing ones, and build loyalty within your market
  • Direct Sales Representatives to new sales and margin opportunities
  • Evaluate current metrics and communicate how they impact current profit-sharing dollars
  • Prepare and present an annual forecast review
Branch Governance & Operations
  • Ensure work is conducted in compliance with Health and Safety Policies and legislation
  • Routinely inspect your workplace and your team’s work habits with a focus on improving safety standards and procedures
  • Ensure your entire team abides by operational and health and safety procedures in line with Noble’s policies
  • Maintain safety standards and legislative requirements for the building, fleet, and equipment
  • Utilize technological software to prepare reports, presentations, input employee information, and process employee requests
  • Perform other job-related duties as required to support the profit centre
Must Haves and Nice to Haves
You Must Have:
  • Completion of a University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five (5) years' managerial experience with a demonstrated record of strong leadership and motivational ability
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in Plumbing/HVAC wholesale industry with established experience in sales
  • Strong understanding of business acumen and technical competencies in preparing budgets, reading financial reports, and analyzing data
  • Knowledge and experience in change management of operational procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a performance-focused and results-oriented environment
  • Experience with conflict-resolution and problem-solving in an environment with multiple stakeholders and balancing priorities
  • Proven ability to provide day-to-day leadership by effectively delegating responsibilities and providing consistent follow-up
  • Commitment towards ensuring a safe working environment for staff and customers
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proof of strong work ethic and determination to achieve success
  • Exceptional level of curiosity, drive, learning agility, and self-motivation
  • Highly engaged and active with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Competent knowledge base of Occupational Health and Safety Standards
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License with consistent access to a personal vehicle

Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000 plus eligibility for car allowance and participation in our profit-sharing program
