A community college in Ontario is seeking a part-time professor for the Elevating Device Mechanic program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical troubleshooting for elevator control systems and a minimum of five years relevant experience. Additionally, prior teaching experience is preferred. The role emphasizes creating a positive learning environment and includes various responsibilities related to curriculum delivery and evaluation. Hours: Teaching is normally scheduled between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Home Campus: Stoney Creek
Rate of Pay: Upon hire, Human Resources will conduct a rate calculation based on completed education and work experience to determine your start rate

The Electrical, Transportation & Innovation department of the Mohawk College Marshall School of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship requires a part-time professor to teach in the elevating device mechanical department in any number of courses and program areas. This upcoming winter we are in particular seeking a specialist in electrical troubleshooting of all vintages of elevator control systems.
Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Professors in this department are responsible for providing academic leadership for developing an effective learning environment.
