WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Design and analyze precast concrete and steel structures using applicable codes.
  • Develop structural design calculations, load paths, and connection details. Develop and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Review and stamp engineering drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure all documentation meets engineering standards, codes, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Drafters, to ensure design intent is met throughout project stages.
  • Provide technical leadership on multiple projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and quality control.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) qualified to work in Canada with Manitoba Certification eligibility.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Five (5) Years Experience with Structural Design per Canada’s National Building Codes (NBC).
  • Experience with software such as, Tekla Structures and Autodesk Revit (Structural BIM), and SketchUp (3D Modelling Program). (Considered an Asset)
