Overview

Relevant du directeur d'usine, le superviseur de production est responsable du bon fonctionnement des opérations, du respect des normes de santé et sécurité, de qualité et de la gestion de l'équipe de production. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the smooth running of operations, compliance with health and safety standards, quality standards and the management of the production team.

About the role

2 positions to be filled; Evening shift; Weekend shift (2x 12 hours + 8 hour shift on weekdays to complete).

Description

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the smooth running of operations, compliance with health and safety standards, quality standards and the management of the production team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the efficiency, achievement of results and discipline of a production team;
  • Organize, direct and control all activities related to the production of the lines;
  • Act proactively on health and safety issues, promote prevention and participate in the implementation of the OHS plan;
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP, traceability, documentation of metal detectors, CCP, weight detectors, etc.);
  • Ensure that production complies with quality standards and work to resolve non-conformities of its lines;
  • Lead meetings with your team in order to communicate objectives - expectations and results, reframe when necessary;
  • Participate in the employee development plan and ensure the training needs of the team. (CCP, task training, etc.);
  • Ensure that objectives are met and work to improve productivity in order to reduce discharges from its lines;
  • Identify continuous improvement projects, contribute to them and implement them with your teams;
  • Monitor your lines (Gamba walk, follow-up of mechanical interventions, repair request, staff coaching, monitoring of discharges and indicators, etc.);
  • Transfer priority with other shifts (intershift meeting, night-day / day-evening);
  • Any other related tasks.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a production management role;
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management and Logistics or equivalent;
  • Must demonstrate interpersonal, team mobilization and communication skills (oral and written);
  • Great ability to work in a team;
  • Have a good analytical mind and a good sense of organization;
  • Demonstrate initiative, rigor and thoroughness;
  • Be results-oriented and have harmonious working relationships.
