Job Description
Planner is responsible for ensuring the Detail Planning is complete in accordance with Integrated Master Schedule Time Fence Rules to highest quality. Planners support Definition of Work Pack hierarchy, requirements and subsequently create jobs and logic into the build plan in AVEVA. Planning Output creates a networked schedule of tasks considering the scope, schedule and budget of an activity integrating material, and technical information and cross functional production teams. The Planner is expected to be proficient in utilization of a combination of the following: Production Drawings, Production Bill of Material, 3D Model, Shipbuilding Construction Techniques, Integrated Master Schedule, Integrated Test Plan and other business management tools.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
