About Us:

Type: Permanent Full Time

Location: Valley View, OH

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Benefits: Eligible for full benefits package after 60 days

Schedule: All shifts available

Summary:

The Production Operator monitors and operates press machines, ovens and equipment, ensuring the quality of products and conformance with the standard operating procedure is maintained. Follows all safety procedures at site while running molding presses with a high attention to detail around the high-temp hazards. Performs basic maintenance repair and upkeep on area equipment. Reads process instructions and drawings, paying close attention to details and specifications. Demonstrates sound mechanical knowledge and aptitude in the following functions: assembly/disassembly, troubleshooting, measuring, and repairing. Wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and works with hazardous materials while operating multiple pieces of machinery.

Duties:
  • Monitors and operates press machines, ovens, and equipment, ensuring the quality of product and conformance with the standard operating procedure is maintained
  • Follow standard operating procedures and process instructions to ensure the accuracy of the product
  • Complete all written requirements, to ensure accuracy of production data which includes scrap tickets
  • Sandblasting, oven operations, hand deburr, manual press operations, general hands lay-up, tool prep, part marking, Poly-S general weigh/sort, Poly-S molding assembly, Poly-S mechanical assembly, Poly-S SMC making, manual press operations, automatic press operations, and semi-automatic press operations
  • Maintain proper storage for materials and product
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and programs, while maintaining safety and the safety of others
  • Abides by the work rules established by the plant
  • Complete I-Learn training require

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Established and maintain company housekeeping standards
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to complete a background check, drug test, and physical successfully
