We are seeking a Production Manager in Saskatoon, to lead and coordinate all activities related to the manufacturing of our products. This role is responsible for setting production priorities, ensuring efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and managing costs. The Production Manager will work closely with other departments to keep operations running smoothly, while driving improvements in processes, equipment use and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and assign lists of work to each workstation
  • Establish production priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
  • Conduct morning meetings with each shop manager to assign priorities for the day
  • Run weekly production meetings, bringing together all necessary parties
  • Maintain a list of all Work Orders to be able to stay on top of Quoted Times, Due Dates
  • Report any deviations from due date to Assistant General Manager, General Manager and Director of Sales.
  • Oversee selection and maintenance of equipment (preventative maintenance), resource planning, and cost estimation of consumables/ vending machines working closely with shop managers.
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve processes and equipment.
  • Ensure all products are delivered on time, on budget, and at the required quality.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in production management within manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
  • Experience with budgets, cost control, and efficiency planning.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
