Overview

DRS Pivotal Power is seeking a Production Dispatcher who will coordinate and execute the timely flow of materials, subassemblies, and completed assemblies throughout the production process. The position reports to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Ensure that production operations have the necessary orders, parts, etc. to keep production moving efficiently throughout the production process
• Maintenance of dispatch lists
• Monitor movement of kits from the stockroom to work cells and between work cells
• Effectively understand, communicate, and manage resolution of material and production issues that may jeopardize attainment of customer delivery or production plan objectives
