Your role on our team:

The Product Support Specialist provides technical and feature knowledge of agriculture equipment products to various audiences. Performs comparisons to competitive agriculture equipment as well as demonstrates equipment. Provides product training for customers and other CWHC employees. Additionally, the position is responsible for the sales and services of all technology products and services (e.g. Trimble, Ag Leader, etc.) as well as setting up and installing technology equipment in the field.

  • Communicates technical and feature knowledge of agriculture products to end-users and internal personnel.
  • Schedules activities such as demonstrations (in the field or customer location), customer visits, farm shows, etc. Leads and participates in internal and external training programs.
  • In collaboration with the dealer sales team, leads dealer sales of technology equipment and the promotion of Precision Farming Technologies, services, and parts/components to end users. Communicates directly with any customers who may have concerns or issues with service or product performance of technology equipment.
  • Assists with the promotion of sales of software updates, data downloading, and mapping services. Understands and works with precision farming products - steering, mapping, telematics, etc.
  • Assists in product delivery, setup, and training of end users.
  • Communicates regularly with Dealership Service and Parts Managers. Supports Service and Parts Departments in promotion of special programs.
  • Provides after sales support to ensure satisfaction with products after delivery and promotes sales of support packages. Takes necessary steps to resolve customer issues timely.

Note: This position includes travel, possibly up to 50% or more - valid driver’s license with verifiable continuous safe driving history is required.

  • Some extensive stays may be required in support of marketing and farm show activities during peak seasons.
Your profile:
  • Associate’s degree in Ag related field or minimum 2 years of Ag equipment related work experience.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated selling ability a plus.
  • Farming background desirable with previous experience in setup and delivery, equipment demos, application, adjustment, setting, and operation of farm equipment.
  • Excellent proven oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skill set.
