Job description

A leading automotive manufacturer is looking for a Product Designer to join its Product Development team. This role focuses on creating new product designs, improving existing components, and supporting innovation projects across exterior trim and assembled systems. You’ll work hands‑on with CAD tools such as NX or CATIA to develop 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation while collaborating with cross‑functional teams on APQP deliverables, concept development, validation plans, prototypes, and customer design requirements.

This position offers the opportunity to be deeply involved in the full lifecycle of automotive product design—from brainstorming and DFMEAs to DFM/DFA, VAVE, tolerance analysis, and testing activities. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical design skills, the ability to participate in design reviews, and the flexibility to support multiple sites, suppliers, and customer visits as needed. If you enjoy solving engineering challenges and contributing to continuous product improvement, this role provides a dynamic environment to grow your design expertise.
