Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to work within our technical operations group. As a key team member of the Technical Department within the mill, this position will initially be focused on our environmental treatment facility at Lake Utopia Paper where we operate the world's largest Anerobic Digester. The position is responsible to manage projects in the areas of product development, process improvement, cost control, and to support capital projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Pulp and Paper industry experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Well-developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Interest in a variety of business functions, such as Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Technical, Project Management and Safety
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity and persistence - you are a problem-solver with natural tendency to ask questions
  • Strong focus on safety and process improvement
  • Drive, initiative, teamwork
  • Language required: English
