Vega Academy is a newly established, Ministry-approved private high school in Toronto and the first in Ontario to be directly linked to an integrated university model through its partnership with International Business University (IBU). We prepare students for the future by building a strong foundation in STEAM and business, delivered through a real-world, hands-on, interdisciplinary approach to learning. Vega Academy will launch the first Grade 12 cohort in February 2026. An exciting leadership opportunity for a seasoned principal interested in leading this unique school through its final planning stages and implementation phases.
We’re looking for a proven academic leader who is student-centred, passionate about teaching and learning and able to model and support next-generation curriculum development and implementation. As our inaugural Principal, you will work with the existing provincial curriculum to design and implement a future-focused curriculum that integrates STEAM and business within a project-based experiential learning framework. The principal will have oversight for the faculty, teach one course (preferably in a STEAM subject), and work closely with the leadership team to ensure Vega’s academic programs, policies, and procedures reflect our values and vision.
