About the Team

Join the Evisort AI team at Workday, which powers Document Intelligence and Workday’s CLM and Contract Intelligence offerings. Our mission is to change the way business deals get done. We build groundbreaking AI technology that reads and understands contract language to streamline drafting, negotiating, reviewing, approving, and managing contracts. We develop AI-first products that automate manual work to save customers time and accelerate their business. This is a startup-like environment inside Workday, backed by substantial support and a customer base of 70M+ users.

About the Role

In this role you’ll join the Evisort design team at Workday, owning and leading design and research on product initiatives in Contract Workflow, Contracts AI, document intelligence, and related areas.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Ship world-class features and experiences, including functionality with no precedent, requiring imagination and innovation.
  • Deeply understand our customer and user base and design best-in-class solutions from first principles for complex challenges.
  • Serve as the designer on product initiatives.
  • Rapidly design, build, and deploy prototypes, wireframes, and product designs.
  • Present, test, and iterate on designs, incorporating internal and external user feedback.
  • Conduct and lead user research on design initiatives.
  • Participate in and lead design sprints.
  • Mentor and participate in peer reviews to elevate the entire design team.
  • Anticipate and respond to changing market conditions, business requirements, and user needs, with a focus on AI and ML in an enterprise environment.
  • Deliver outstanding user-centric product solutions that address complex requirements.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders across the organization and own end product quality from early design to final in-product deliverables.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if:

  • You are excited by the fast pace of a startup and can work on standard and compressed timelines to deliver great results.
  • You thrive in ambiguous and complex situations and turn ideas into solutions.
  • You are opinionated and operate from a hypothesis-driven mindset, validating or pivoting quickly as needed.
  • You can operate independently and are self-driven, but enjoy collaboration with teammates.
  • You are action-oriented and prioritize forward progress daily.
  • You follow a continuous research mindset, studying customers and the market every day.
  • You take pride in your work and aim to deliver designs you’d proudly show in portfolios; “good enough” is not in your vocabulary.
  • You have experience with and enjoy AI products, testing new AI solutions for prototyping and testing.
  • You stay updated on AI trends and releases via newsletters and social channels.
  • You are curious and continuously update your design toolkit.
