A non-profit investment corporation in Halifax is seeking a Portfolio Manager for Infrastructure to manage the pension funds' infrastructure portfolio. Our premises are within the Purdy’s Wharf complex which provides amenities such as an on‑site daycare and fitness centre. Position Summary
Reporting to the Head of Private Markets (HPM) the position of Portfolio Manager, Infrastructure / Associate Portfolio Manager, Infrastructure is responsible for investing and managing the infrastructure portfolio of the Teachers’ Pension Fund and the Public Service Superannuation Pension Fund (the “Funds”). The position’s primary responsibility is to source and due diligence new infrastructure investment opportunities; manage the investment process; provide day‑to‑day management of the portfolio, fund managers, separately managed accounts, and co‑investment relationships; provide ongoing monitoring of existing funds and co‑investments, including underlying asset valuations; and providing comprehensive quarterly reporting. As a subject‑matter expert in infrastructure, provide support to the Investment Committee and provide input to the private markets strategies. Private markets includes the real estate, infrastructure, private equity and natural resources investment portfolios.
