Job summary

A tech consulting firm based in Montreal is seeking a PLM Business Analyst to help leading manufacturers accelerate their digital transformation. You will leverage your expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and support clients throughout transformation phases. The role requires fluency in French and English, a degree in a relevant field, and at least 4 years of experience in a related role. The position offers a hybrid work environment and unique opportunities for travel.

Qualifications

To Excel In This Role, You Should
  • Have solid experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), including analyzing business processes and supporting or implementing PLM solutions such as Dassault Systèmes, PTC, Siemens, etc.
  • Be mobile within the Montreal area to meet with clients as needed and/or be open to international opportunities and be willing to relocate.
  • Be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, as these languages are essential for daily communication with colleagues and clients, both in Quebec and abroad.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze the business context and identify all stakeholders, including impacted teams and business processes.
  • Gather and understand stakeholder needs and translate them into clear, actionable objectives.
  • Structure, document, and maintain up‑to‑date functional and non‑functional requirements to ensure ongoing alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to design solutions tailored to identified challenges.
  • Facilitate interactive workshops with stakeholders to validate and refine proposed solutions.
  • Work closely with the business process architect to develop transformation documentation and validate business cases post‑implementation.
  • Support clients throughout transformation phases, including change management and business process optimization.
  • Contribute to testing, qualification, and validation phases to ensure solutions meet defined requirements.
  • Share business analysis expertise to support and guide internal teams across the organization.
Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the aeronautics or aerospace industry.
  • Familiarity with one or more PLM solutions (e.g., Dassault Systèmes, PTC, Siemens).
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Minitab, etc.
  • Skilled in creating and decomposing business process models using tools like ARIS, IcePanel, or C4 models.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Visual Basic.
  • Strong ability to lead workshops, deliver user training, and present effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel for international assignments.
  • Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with bilingual clients.
