Overview
PLC Recruitment Alberta Permanent, Part-time, Full-time position for Radiologist in Jasper, Alberta. This role offers a balance of general radiology practice (70–80%) and breast imaging/interventions (20–30%), with no evenings, weekends, or on-call requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, ultrasound, and CT/MRI.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic and screening mammography.
- Carry out ultrasound- and stereotactic-guided breast interventions, including biopsies.
- Provide or learn MSK image-guided injections (fluoroscopy/ultrasound-guided).
- Rotate across multiple clinics depending on scheduling needs.
- Deliver patient-centered, high-quality care in a collegial group practice.
Ideal Candidate Profile / Qualifications
- Generalist radiologist with strong adaptability and a collaborative approach.
- Training and/or experience in breast imaging and procedures.
- Competence in diagnostic and screening mammography.
- Comfort with breast intervention techniques (ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy).
- Procedural skills in MSK interventions (or willingness to be trained).
- No fellowship required, but confidence in breast and MSK imaging is important.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to quality and efficiency.
