Overview

PLC Recruitment Alberta Permanent, Part-time, Full-time position for Radiologist in Jasper, Alberta. This role offers a balance of general radiology practice (70–80%) and breast imaging/interventions (20–30%), with no evenings, weekends, or on-call requirements. Located in a world-class city in Alberta with a culture of growth and opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, ultrasound, and CT/MRI.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and screening mammography.
• Carry out ultrasound- and stereotactic-guided breast interventions, including biopsies.
• Provide or learn MSK image-guided injections (fluoroscopy/ultrasound-guided).
• Rotate across multiple clinics depending on scheduling needs.
• Deliver patient-centered, high-quality care in a collegial group practice.

Ideal Candidate Profile / Qualifications

• Generalist radiologist with strong adaptability and a collaborative approach.
• Training and/or experience in breast imaging and procedures.
• Competence in diagnostic and screening mammography.
• Comfort with breast intervention techniques (ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy).
• Procedural skills in MSK interventions (or willingness to be trained).
• No fellowship required, but confidence in breast and MSK imaging is important.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to quality and efficiency.
