Qualifications

• Must hold a PTA/OTA diploma or degree in Kinesiology.
• Previous experience within a long-term care setting is an asset.
• Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising physiotherapist with treatment plans.
• Perform various prescribed therapies and exercises.
• Deliver safe and beneficial exercise classes for residents.
• Maintain communication with physiotherapist regarding patients.

Skills

PTA/OTA diploma or degree in Kinesiology

Previous experience in LTC setting

Standard First Aid & CPR Certification

Vulnerable Sector screening check

Proof of Tuberculin clearance
