Northern Health - BC seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) for the Emergency department. The Physician Assistant (PA), Emergency, performs a variety of clinical duties within the scope defined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). Clinical care will be provided across select facilities under the supervision of a PA Emergency Program Physician Supervisor (the Physician Supervisor). The PA reports to a Site Administrative Manager but is accountable to the Physician Supervisor or delegate for the quality of care and professional development. The PA collaborates with emergency department physicians, medical residents, nursing, and allied health professionals to provide continuous, team-based patient care.
Starting salary ranges from approximately $88,990 to $111,237, based on education, training, experience, and comparable positions.
Functional Reporting Relationships
The Physician Assistant, Emergency, reports to the Physician Supervisor or delegate for clinical practice matters and to the Manager of Clinical Operations or delegated administrative leader for administrative matters.
