Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Retail Pharmacy Manager to join their team in Athlone. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in managing the front-of-counter retail operation within a busy community pharmacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and KPIs, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.

The Role:

• Manage and support the front-of-counter team, motivating them to deliver strong results and excellent customer service.
  
• You will be responsible for retail standards, merchandising, stock control, category management, and cash handling.
  
• You will also implement promotional activity, maintain compliance with company policies and SOPs, and ensure that Health & Safety standards are met.
  
• The position also involves monitoring performance, providing regular updates to senior management, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and customer engagement.
  

The ideal candidate

• Must have Strong Retail Store Manager experience ( Pharmacy experience desired but not essential)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  
• You should be commercially focused, target-driven, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, combined with a passion for customer service and community care, are essential.
