A regional pharmacy provider in British Columbia is looking for a Pharmacist to join their dynamic team. This role offers flexible part-time or full-time hours without evening or Sunday shifts and competitive pay starting at $60 hourly. As a Pharmacist, you'll support store operations, ensure superior customer experiences, and fulfill various responsibilities including dispensing prescriptions and consulting with patients.

We are looking for a Pharmacist to promote our beliefs within our collaborative and dynamic pharmacy workforce! Part time or full time with no evenings, Sundays or stat holidays! Starting at $60 hourly!

You will be joining an amazing team with experienced assistants and a pharmacy technician!

The Pharmacist directly supports the Designated Pharmacy Manager to ensure the ongoing success of store operations. Acting as a leader in driving superior customer experience, that translates into an environment that ensures people make the healthiest choices quickly, easily and confidently, helping them feel better every day.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions.
  • Accurately and timely claim submission and/or registration of all patient focused services performed.
  • Adhere to opioid policy
  • Able to operate in a fast paced environment
  • Consult with patients to maximize Rx and OTC sales.
  • Perform patient focused services as deemed eligible and appropriate for the patients.
  • Report any dispensing errors (Medication Incident) found to the Pharmacy Manager or reported to the Pharmacy Manager and head office within 24 hours.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for supervising ongoing follow-up and collection of 3rd party receivables.
  • Maintaining the dispensary inventory level within the prescribed guidelines through accurate perpetual inventory records.
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
  • Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college, where applicable in the province seeking employment, in good standing
  • Experience as a Pharmacist
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Proficient computer/data/entry skills
  • Strong customer/patient satisfaction orientation.
  • Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to maintain the optimum balance between the profession of pharmacy and business of pharmacy.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work productively as a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team.
