Job description

Job duties:

  • Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify if there is pest activity.
  • Perform wildlife inspections on roofs, ladders, and in attics and crawlspaces.
  • Develop and implement effective pest control strategies and treatment plans.
  • Determine the type of treatment required and provide an estimate of costs to clients.
  • Fumigate residential and commercial properties.
  • Place and set traps to capture and remove animals.
  • Inform customers about pest and wildlife control methods and provide recommendations on how to maintain a pest-free environment.
  • Repair damage caused by wildlife, and complete exclusion work to seal potential entry points proactively.
  • Keep detailed records of services provided and maintain accurate documentation on our production system.

Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

The language of work: English.

Wage: $34.10 per hour.

Required education:

Required work experience and skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  • Background check is required; must have no criminal record.
  • Previous experience in pest or wildlife control is preferred but is not required.
  • Previous experience in construction and the use of power tools is an asset but is not required.
  • Valid Ontario Structural Pest Control licence is an asset but is not required.
