Qualifications

  • Deux ans d'expérience en vente, de préférence en assurance.
  • Possession d'un permis général de niveau 1 est un atout.
  • Capacité à passer des vérifications judiciaires et de crédit.

Responsibilities

We have an opening for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our Personal Insurance team at our Medicine Hat, AB Branch on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

What the Role Entails:

  • Serving ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, conducting needs assessments, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conducting care calls, and processing renewals
  • Selling new policies and retaining existing clients
  • Quoting new business via outbound calls, introductory letters, and walk-in clients
  • Collaborating with Underwriters and Adjusters regarding guidelines and policies
  • Preparing documentation, completing applications, issuing certificates, processing changes, and reviewing renewals
  • Staying current on underwriting rules and workflows
  • Participating in training initiatives
  • Engaging in community marketing efforts

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • If you possess equivalent skills, please apply*
  • High School and/or Post-Secondary Education
  • At least 2 years of sales experience (insurance sales experience preferred but not required)
  • Level 1 General License (preferred)
  • Experience with Epic is an asset
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to pass criminal background and credit checks
