Job summary

A leading health authority in Victoria, Canada, is seeking a Registered Nurse - Perinatal to provide direct nursing care to obstetrical patients. This role requires current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, as well as certification in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong organizational and assessment skills while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

  • Must have registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN.
  • Graduate from a Perinatal Nursing specialty program is required.
  • Must have a valid CPR Basic Rescuer certification and NRP certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and provides direct nursing care to obstetrical patients.
  • Adheres to unit/program philosophy and relevant guidelines.
  • Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and multidisciplinary health care team.
