Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager seeking a leadership role within a large, dynamic professional services firm? Our well-established Montreal-based company with approximately 2,000 employees is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee the full payroll function across multiple jurisdictions.

Advantages

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 2,000 employees across Canada and the US
Ensure accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing
Manage compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements, including government remittances and year-end reporting (T4, RL-1, W-2, etc.)
Oversee unionized and non-unionized payroll components, coordinating with stakeholders
Supervise and mentor payroll team members
Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external auditors
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize payroll processes and systems
Ensure payroll practices comply with company policies and applicable laws

Qualifications
Significant payroll management experience in large, multi-jurisdictional environments (Canada and US)
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax compliance, and collective agreements
Experience in professional services or related sectors preferred
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now payroll software
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage priorities and lead a team effectively
Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)
