Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • 2+ years experience as an RN within the specialty area or related specialty preferred.

The Patient Care Coordinator will provide daily, shift-to-shift leadership to support the operations of the Inpatient Neuro Unit. As the Patient Care Coordinator, you will exhibit excellence in clinical patient care, customer service, critical thinking, schedule management, relationship competencies, and organizational skills. You will have the authority and autonomy to ensure the appropriate clinical and customer satisfaction outcomes are met, while effectively leading your team.

The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) will be part of a professional neuro care team including Neurologists and nursing support staff who provide individualized, patient-focused care for patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, post-brain or spine surgeries, or neurological instability requiring frequent assessment or monitoring.

This unit is equipped with advanced technology to treat patients with critical neurological conditions in a welcoming environment that promotes family visitation, which is crucial to healing. Our team combines critical care training with a patient-centered approach to ensure the best care during their stay.

Qualifications :
