Under the direction of the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, the Pastry Chef will have the following main missions:

  • Create the dessert menu
  • Under the supervision of the chef, manage the pastry team
  • Prepare recipes and special requests
  • Select or develop recipes
  • Determine the ingredients needed and their quantities
  • Baking, icing or decorating pastries
  • Designing and making special event cakes and presentation pieces
  • Preparing ice cream products and creams
  • Making chocolates and special orders food
  • Maintaining clean and tidy workplaces and tools
