A mining company is seeking a Parts Technician for the Blackwater Mine site in Canada. This permanent position involves managing parts inventory for mobile equipment, ensuring parts availability, and liaising with maintenance teams. Reporting to the Chief Maintenance Engineer – Mobile Maintenance, the Parts Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality and performance of our fleet of mobile equipment. This position is responsible for inventory and distribution of parts. The role will be in collaboration with maintenance, planning, procurement, and suppliers’ teams to ensure the effective maintenance of availability of the mining fleet and site assets. The Parts Technician role is to also ensure that, the right parts are available when needed, minimizing equipment downtime and supporting the smooth functioning of mining operations.
Location: Blackwater Mine site
Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation
