Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support all guards on post ensuring duties are carried out effectively.
• Conduct regular exterior patrols around the perimeter parking areas and access roads using the patrol car.
• Respond immediately to all incidents, alarms or requests for assistance from guards or site management.
• Ensure all security posts (main entrance, warehouse entrance, guardhouse, mobile) are properly staffed and covered.
• Coordinate and assist with shift changes, post reliefs and emergency procedures.
• Communicate clearly with the client site supervisors and dispatch when required.
• Review and collect all shift reports, incident reports and activity logs.
• Provide leadership guidance and on-the-spot training or feedback to team members.
• Ensure adherence to safety and security policies across the site.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License and clean Drivers Abstract (required).
• Minimum 2 years of security experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Logistics Experience would be an asset.
• Strong communication, coordination and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead by example and handle incidents calmly and professionally.
• Comfortable operating a vehicle and conducting exterior patrols in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of report writing, radio communication and site-specific procedures.
