The Scenic Fabricator I, under the supervision of the Scenic Department manager, is responsible for performing basic carpentry work on custom exhibits, cabinetry and scenery using industrial woodworking machinery and materials according to specifications and drawings provided by the Manager - Fabrication and the project team. This position reports to the Manager, Fabrication.

Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a shop environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in a warehouse environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area. When in the Fabrication Department, work will be completed in a temperature-controlled environment with exposure to dirt, sand, dust, and chemicals. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
