Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR is required.
• Willingness to obtain NVCPI certification is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in daily living activities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Plan and oversee provision of support with individuals and their teams.
• Create skill development opportunities for individuals.

What We Are Hiring For

We are currently hiring a part-time Purchased Service Worker for our Passport program in Wyoming, Ontario.

Purchased Service Workers make a difference in people’s lives by providing support to people with developmental disabilities in all activities of daily living in their homes and the community and by fostering independence and personal growth. In conjunction with the person, their team and family/friends, Purchased Service Workers are responsible for planning and overseeing provision of support, along with creating skill development opportunities for people supported in aspiration to reach their life goals.

What You Will Need

• Current, valid "G" or "G2" Ontario Driver’s License, and must have use of personal vehicle
• Current certification in First Aid/CPR
• Current certification in NVCPI or willing to obtain
• Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada

Compensation And Scheduling

• $25.03 per hour
• Part-time: Less than 20 hours per week including days, afternoons, weekends or nights
