Qualifications

• Valid driver's license Class G, access to a reliable vehicle, and clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to obtain automobile insurance with a minimum liability of $2 million.
• Excellent communication skills for both verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Support communication and daily living for individuals who are deafblind.
• Empower individuals in daily living activities including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
• Ensure documentation and records are complete.

Skills

Experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviours

Communication in American Sign Language (ASL) or Signed Exact English (SEE)

Education

Completion of a college diploma or certificate in related human services field
