A national park organization in Jasper, AB is seeking Visitor Services Attendants to maintain park facilities and welcome visitors. Candidates will provide information and assist with cleaning duties. Essential qualifications include experience in cleaning services and providing public service. EXPERIENCE (BOTH STREAMS): Experience in providing cleaning services (in facilities such as commercial or institutional environments) and experience providing information and service to the public, including complaint resolution.
EXPERIENCE (STREAM 2 ONLY - VISITOR SERVICES ATTENDANT): Experience identifying hazards and potential risks, taking proactive steps to maintain a safe environment; experience in handling cash, operating point of sale systems, and performing cash-out duties.
KNOWLEDGE (BOTH STREAMS): Knowledge of how to apply health and safety procedures at the work site.
ABILITIES (BOTH STREAMS): Client focus, concern for safety, integrity, problem solving, teamwork.
PERSONAL SUITABILITY (BOTH STREAMS): Exercises sound judgment, communicates effectively, takes responsibility, and personally connects with people.
ASSET ABILITIES (STREAM 2 ONLY - VISITOR SERVICES ATTENDANT): Enforcement knowledge of policies to detect violations and take appropriate action.
