Job summary

The Byng Group seeks experienced Painters to join their team in Trenton. As a Painter, you will prepare surfaces, fill nicks, and perform drywall repairs. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in painting.
• Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surfaces to be plastered and makes drywall paint-ready.
• Fills in nicks and repairs walls using plaster and drywall.
• Drywall installation and framing with metal studs are considered assets.

The Byng Group is a leading interior renovation general contractor with more than 50 years' experience and a team of over 500, specializing in high-rise rental properties.

We are looking for experienced Painters to join our team in Trenton.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares surfaces to be plastered.
• Fills in nicks and cuts in ceilings, walls, and partitions using plaster.
• Repair walls with drywall
• Sand areas after each coat making drywall paint-ready
• Drywall Repairs, Taping and Plastering
• Drywall Installation is considered an asset
• Framing with Metal Studs considered an asset

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3years’ experience
• Own Tools Required. They are not supplied.
• Quality and Speed are assessed.
• Able to problem solve on-site and off-site
• Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule
• Willing to travel to Belleville and Trenton considered an asset.
