Crafting Highlights

In the role of Line Lead - Packaging working in Toronto, ON, you will be part of the Packaging Department. You will lead and coach an operation of a functional area; apply robust people‑management practices, build capability of the team(s), create space for effective coaching and communications. You will build and maintain plans and standards around safety and quality. You will lead departmental operations in one of the Packaging formats i.e. Bottle, Can or Keg, towards the vision of a high‑performance team culture and drive change‑management initiatives to continually improve both plant and process operations to meet World Class Operations Standards. You will contribute to the operations manager group on site development of short‑term tactics and contribute to the brewery strategy over a 5‑year time horizon.

What You’ll Be Brewing
  • Develop and lead execution of the Line 90‑Day Plans to address losses and build capability.
  • Coach and mentor team to deliver departmental KPIs the right way, aligned to the World Class Supply Chain 2.0 pillars. Identify talent needs and develop plans to close gaps.
  • Develop, monitor and embed systems and processes to optimize efficiency, quality and delivery through removal of waste in all forms.
  • Own planned stop execution and have monthly review accountability of Line Master Plans and results.
  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives.
  • Love a challenge. Complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with an understanding of the business priorities. Act with appropriate urgency to market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy.
  • Be confident and competent, diplomatic, professional, and exercise great judgement in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business.
  • Be a motivated leader that can inspire others; respect commitments and obtain optimal results from the team through respect and development.
  • Be a skilled negotiator focused on the client; constant curiosity fosters an innovative style and the ability to execute ideas given to you.
  • Have 3+ years of experience as a manufacturing/operations supervisor.
  • Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Science or Business.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings

$100,400.00$131,800.00 (posting salary range) + 13% target short‑term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above‑market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
