Qualifications

Job description

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our client company, specializing in new residential construction windows and doors. This role is key to driving new business and building lasting relationships with builders, contractors, and developers in the GTA. If you have a strong sales background, a passion for the building materials industry, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the new construction market
– Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and project managers
– Conduct job site visits to measure windows and doors accurately for quotes
– Prepare and present tailored quotes, proposals, and product recommendations
– Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitor activity
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
– Track sales activities using CRM tools and provide regular updates to management
– Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions

Qualifications:
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in outside sales, preferably in building materials, windows, or doors
– Solid knowledge of new construction processes and building codes
– Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
– Self-driven with strong organizational skills and a ‘hunter’ sales mentality
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
– Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle
